Ginny`s Cafe in Frenchtown

Update: since my original posting I've become a vegetarian and Ginny's is still my go to! Their avocado toast (no bacon) is one of my favorites for breakfast. Their grilled veggie sandwich is excellent for lunch. But my favorite indulgence is the Havana wrap but instead of pork I ask for home fries inside. It's insanely good. I visit this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I must say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot clean consistently. Rates are affordable and they serve generous portions.

Good food. All the waitresses have massive tattoos. Pretty disgusting.

The menu was huge. You will find at least 5 things you want to eat. Food was delicious and excellent service. Properly spaced tables outside with umbrellas.

Nice clean dining room; good wings and good ice cream.

Always friendly staff, and the food is consistently delicious...the only thing I suggest is adding avocado on the breakfast burritos!

Great food reasonable prices. Had a cheese burger with fried onions. Was so good!

It is very clean and welcoming. They offer outside seating and have umbrellas. They offer something for everyone. I ordered an Italian hot dog. It was delicious. My wife had a half a turkey sandwich on the and a cup of chicken noodle soup. She loved it! The wait staff was very friendly. They seemed genuinely happy we were there. They also have an outside area to order ice cream. We will stop there again for sure.

The aesthetic of the place is so so pleasing. I love the décor and the whole atmosphere and the way the seating is. Just very very nice all around. The food is excellent as well. Doesn't disappoint.

Loved my omelette. But my tomato sauce, salt an pepper shakers need to be on the table. Why am I getting little packets?

1st time here and my son and I were very impressed! Started of with bone in wings that were nice and crispy the way a wing should be. It wasn't busy, but very quick table service. Waitress was very friendly and knew the menu. The restaurant was very clean and seating was spacious. They did not try to pack this place with alot of chairs so you have to turn sideways just to get to your seat. The only down flaw I see is the restrooms do not appear to be handicap accessible. I was just in a wheel chair for three months and said to myself I'm glad I didnt come here then. Thumbs up for me. I will definitely return again.

Love this place, excellent selection, great family atmosphere. Expect a rouge visit from Leslie Hammond and her family demanding sugar free ice cream (which sometimes they dont have) causing them to trash a perfectly decent family restaurant with a 1 star review.

Great place to eat. I’m originally from NJ but live in Austin, TX. Came back to visit my family for a few days and Ginny’s was a must! Excellent food and service!

Excellent atmosphere, great service, 1990s prices, huge and varied menu, and just darn good food. Came for lunch, but my hunch is that breakfast is their forte.

Really great little place. Friendly staff, tasty food, and reasonable prices. It's a place for a nice meal, slightly off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

Stopped in for a quick burger and turkey sandwich . Pretty good food. Seemed to have a lot of everything on the menu. Service was good too.

Nice to relax for a bit with some really good ice cream

So this is the 3rd time I’ve been to this place. Every time I come here, I say it will be my last. The service SUCKS, the food was cold (again) and no one brought us coffee until we asked the bus person for it. The food is mediocre at best....Has an ice cream store here too- not much to remark on. This place needs to hire experienced servers and cooks instead of inept teenage girls who are clueless on basic service and etiquette. Recently re-modeled and looks nice but go spend your money elsewhere. I’M NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN.

I had the most delicious lamb gyro here for lunch--very tender meat and fresh ingredients! Interior is a little loud, but homey. Friendly waitress, however service was extremely slow, the restaurant wasn't crowded so can't figure out why. We would like to go back, since we all enjoyed our meals, and try again to see if it was a one-time thing.

My second time here, amazing food yet again! Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Definitely coming here more often (Their Kingwood Burgers are the best)Edit: Ginny’s is now a personal favorite of mine, I try to eat there whenever I can

I had a burger and salad it was okay. Service was good and restaurant was clean. I will go back and try something different next time.

Love the food and the staff here. Used to go there all the time but, I live far away now... Highly suggest it.
